From 13 to 21 May 2023, the National Coeliac Disease Week returns throughout Italy, now in its eighth edition and promoted by AIC, the Italian Coeliac Disease Association, on the occasion of World Coeliac Disease Day on 16 May.
It is a chronic inflammation of the intestine, triggered by the ingestion of gluten in genetically predisposed individuals.
